T-ara does shows that they do have fans here in Malaysia after their arrival last night have been jammed pack with fans thus lead to a bit chaos between the security and also the fans. Nobody expected a huge crowd would camped inside KLIA waiting for the group and it’s something to look forward for their showcase tonight when all seats have been sold out upon the arrival of these girls.
Today’s press conference started around 11 am attended by seven gorgeous girls known as Eun Jung, Areum, SoYoen, Boram, Qri, Ji Yeon and Hyomin. The meaning of T-ara is coming from the word Tiara as their inspiration to be crowned as the queens of the music industries. This is the first time for the group to come here except Eun Jung who came for ‘We Got Married’ tv show before. Eun Jung felt so happy by the overwhelmed response from the Queens last night at the airport. They will try their best to show a good showmanship upon the showcase to night by singing 7 songs from the albums and also preparing for a surprise tonight. They however concern upon the language barrier that might occur between the fans but the MC quickly said that Malaysia fans do know and learn korean as well, so no problem with the language. They seem a bit relieved by the explanation.
With lots of new idol groups debuting recently, they’ve been asked on how they maintain their popularity. They replied that they work hard not being too sexy or cute and try to be more friendly and closer to fans. They’re also feel glad that fans still accept and support them for who they are.
T-ara have released a lot of funky pop song includes Bo Peeep Bo Peep, Roly Poly, and Lovey Dovey. Recently, in early September, T-ara have just released a new album named mirage- gaining more popularity through Sexy Love. The mirage album also selling fast in korea. They have signed a 4.3million contract with management company j-rock for their Japanese debut, which is the highest out of girls group debuting in japan. Their first single Bopeep Bopeep debuted at number one on the oricon weekly charts with 49,712 copies sold and become first for a debuting Korean girls group ever in history. T-ara also has won “top artist of 2011” at Billboard Japan Awards.
T-ara showcase will be held in Dewan Wawasan, Menara PGRM, 830PM tonight! So don’t miss it!
