Yes, it has been confirmed; frontman Jared Leto will be in Malaysia with his band, Thirty Seconds to Mars. Another local act who will be sharing the stage with them is Pop Shuvit, rounded out with addition of rising US pop rockers Neon Trees and K-pop superstars BEAST.

MTV World Stage Live in Malaysia 2011 will be staged at i-City, Shah Alam, Malaysia on 24 July 2011. Doors open at 4.30pm. It will be broadcast on MTV SEA (Astro Channel 713) Monday, 8 August at 12am (Malaysia Time).
